From our online pure play beginning with 7 localized webshops operating from Asia to the America’s, we have expanded into multi-brand retail stores, moved into new markets and have exciting new products in the pipeline.

The Opportunity

Nordgreen is currently looking for a Country Manager for the United States to build, manage and grow the brand’s presence in the country. Nordgreen’s country team's are passionate entrepreneurs with exceptional leadership skills as well as the ability to get their hands dirty and build something from the ground up. Having an exceptional can-do attitude coupled with a high sense of urgency as well as an ability to be persistent and relentless is of utmost importance when building a company from the ground up, which is the underlying reason for why Nordgreen primarily looks for candidates who have previously worked in high-performance environments and/or have some sort of entrepreneurial background. 

As a Country Manager for the United States, you will have the responsibility for Nordgreen’s P&L in the country, meaning that you will be responsible for all aspects of the business system. Business development, brand building, account management, international trading and continuous innovation are therefore all elements which you need to take care of on a daily basis. In order for you to be able to meet your targets effectively and efficiently, you’ll have access to a high-level network of privileged partnerships. You will, for instance, have dedicated partnership with our distributors, overview of e-commerce landscape in the US, a complete logistical setup, as well as an excellent base of like-minded people which you can leverage.

You will be reporting directly to the CMO.


Duties & responsibilities 

  • Present, promote and sell Nordgreen products in existing and new markets

  • Carry out sales activities and negotiations

  • Building customer relationships

  • Creating synergies between our B2B and B2C presence

  • Identify new markets and executing on our commonly set B2B sales strategy

  • Elaborate on your own sales budget, goals, and customer collaboration agreements


You are the perfect candidate if 

  • You hold a degree in economics, finance, business administration, or an equivalent academic field from a leading university.

  • +3 years of professional working experience.

  • You have experience working in e-commerce industry (a must)

  • You have experience with or an understanding of:

    • ECRM, Paid Search, Organic, Social

    • Attribution modelling

    • Google analytics

    • Customer segmentation

  • You are entrepreneurial and have a passion for creating things from scratch.

  • You are proactive. relentless, reliable, and have a high sense of urgency which makes it easy for you to excel a dynamic environment.

  • You are based in Copenhagen or are willing to re-locate to the city.

  • You are a startup hustler and have a passion for our mission.
