We are looking for a world-class User Experience passionate to help us bring our non-human masseuse experience to the world.
We’re on a mission to offer wellness and massage to every body. Literally! Our non-human masseuse offers high-quality but affordable massages. It also never gets tired and doesn’t need to small talk.
Our franchise concept has some similarities to the tanning salon model. Our vision is to have an automated massage salon in every major city in the world. Our short-term goal is to open 3 salons in Europe. That would make us franchise and Series A ready.
You’ll play a key role in the expansion of Self by driving the product experience, and overall design of the customer journey. As part of the management team, you will work closely with the CEO, CTO, Chief of Massages, and other world-class creatives.
The perfect candidate would have the opportunity to become Chief Experience Officer who is responsible for the overall experience of an organization's products and services. You would also be charged with bringing holistic experience design to the boardroom and making it an intrinsic part of the company's strategy and culture.
With an understanding of the chaos and lack of structure that sometimes describe a start-up, the ideal candidate will enjoy seeking opportunities and will be energized by our high ambitions and growth expectations, embracing the challenge of building an international company from nothing. With equal importance to the background, we will focus on each candidate’s leadership approach, mindset, and competencies for this role.
Some key areas of focus include:
Solving complex problems related to non-human massage
Helping with designing the ambiance in our salons
Listening to customers (feedback)
Leading UI designers to create customer journeys (app, web, and possibly robotics interfaces)
Bridging tech, product, business, and user experience
