Intro

La Cabra Coffee is a modern coffee company established in Aarhus, Denmark in 2012. We are a dedicated team aiming to offer something new and exciting to the speciality coffee scene. 

Today La Cabra consist of a roastery in Copenhagen, bakeries in both Aarhus and New York, cafés, franchise partners and wholesale partners all over the world and a webshop that sells our products to more than 30 markets.

We constantly seek improvement in everything that we do including technical solutions. We are therefore currently looking for a CTO to become an essential part of our growing and diverse team in Copenhagen. The CTO will be in charge of our global technological platform.

The job

Your main tasks

• As CTO, you are responsible for the technological platform, the roadmap for the future and the technical leadership.

• Stay up to date on the newest functionalities in Shopify and integrate the ones that will improve our business.

• Hire and lead a development team.

• Prepare and develop our technological platform so it is ready for the next step in our global expansion.

• Plan and execute a digital strategy that supports the overall strategy and goals of the online store.

• Work closely with each department across the company to support with technological needs.

• You will be in charge of the development of both our B2B store and B2C store.

• Nurture talent and establish technical excellence by fostering skill and career development. 

• Ensure mitigation of relevant security, privacy, and business continuity risks.

Qualifications

• You have a former webshop management role.

• You have thorough knowledge of the Shopify framework.

• You have strong coding skills (HTML, Liquid, CSS, JS).

• You quickly acquire and understand new skills and knowledge and apply them to your work.

• You are great at developing and executing new and more effective processes and systems.

• You have the ability to keep different teams on the same track.

• You are passionate about leadership.

• You can look ahead and define goals, strategies, motivate, and manage your team.

• You have high project- and stakeholder management skills.

• You are fluent in English.

• You have great written communication skills.
