Who we are

We are an ambitious deep-tech robotics startup based in Copenhagen. We are developing innovative mobile robots to assist nurses by automating transport tasks in hospital wards. We are on a mission to reduce nurse burnout and strengthen the healthcare system to continue to deliver world-class patient care.

Design in hospitals has always been neglected. We aim to be pioneers in introducing the first solution specifically designed for nurses, that nurses love and that makes patients feel at home. We are looking for an Industrial Designer to carry out engineering tasks with an emphasis on design.

As an Industrial Designer at Yuman, you will be responsible for designing the first ever design-driven mobile robot in hospitals. You will be leading the design process.

Your responsibilities

Your key responsibilities will be:

• Creating a realistic and implementable 3D concept of a mobile robot to be used in hospital wards - by nurses.

• Solving tasks individually and efficiently.

• Creating different prototype versions, and high-fidelity visuals until the desired design is achieved.

• Conducting user tests and iteratively incorporating the findings and improvements into the design.

• Working cross-functionally with the Electrical, Mechanical and Software engineering teams.

Your Profile

• Proficiency in Solid Works and 3D modelling.

• Hands-on experience in industrial design and/or product development of real products.

• Not afraid to take responsibility, be determined and work independently.

• You like to get challenged and have the ability to work in a startup - where the environment is dynamic and agile.
