Sustainable event and marketing internship

Boodla is on an exciting journey to develop our business. One very important side of this is to create meetings and events at our HQ where people who work towards the same sdg´s as us can meet.

And to develop our communication to better reach other professionals.

You will be working closely to managment and get a lot of freedom to develop your ideas. You will be able to learn about sustainability, regenerative agriculture, urban farming, social impact and entrepreneurship. We have many years of experience.

We expect you to enjoy both coming up with ideas and executing them. As us, you love to both DO and TALK. You are probably at your end of a marketing education or you have been working for some time and feel the need to DO SOMETHING about the climate. Maybe your current employer can let you work with us as a pro bono?

You love nature and is already deep into or dream to become deep into gardening.

You will be working in a little bit of paradise on earth, our garden and "HQ"-villa in Botkyrka.

It is not a full time position. Hours can be discussed. But it is important for us that you work alongside with us at the HQ regularly during your time with us.

Boodla works to enable sustainable city life. And our main target groups are housing companies, real estate developers, architects and municipalities. We know that life in the city can only be sustainable if people living there have the possibility to connect to each other and if ecosystems can thrive. Today, 60 % of city dwellers in Sweden feel lonely and as we develop or re-develop the city ecosystems get pushed away. We need to change this! Our tool is urban farming services. We teach amateurs and professionals how food is grown, how healthy soils and soil stewardship can mitigate climatechange and we show how urban farming can contribute to solving the food safety challenge in cities. We work for a healthy city soil and systems that support it because the soil is the medium and the prerequisite for a viable future. We started Boodla because we experienced the lack of knowledge and motivation regarding sustainability among our colleagues AND people living in the city. We felt we needed to adress this. We felt we could no longer continue as before and we work tirelessly to create a strong voice and inspirational resource for creating sustainable city life.
