Who are we?

CPHUX is Denmark’s largest UX community. We run regular events for UX professionals to network and share knowledge. We collate jobs on our UX-focused job board for companies to promote jobs and UX professionals to find jobs

What is the role?

You will be taking over the responsibility for the development of our website and admin pages. Currently, our website is built on HTML, CSS, PHP and a framework which we are replacing with Laravel and PHP. We already have a new onboarding flow build for new members (freemium and premium users) but we still have some things to work out before we can roll out the new build. You will be converting the rest of the site, some direct conversions and others with new designs (including design documents) from our designers. We have a few admin apps which we would like to tidy up and gather under an admin view. We do have a senior developer who currently is on paternity leave who will be able to onboard you and support you.

• You don’t go for easy fixes but think about the code longterm

• Understanding of good code practices and standards that the respective frameworks specify

• You are independent to work under your own freedom (we don’t expect you to work at specific hours or come into the office, but to get the job done right)

What are you working on?

• Developing new features on existing pages

• Creating an admin dashboard/app

• Improve our statistical data for our members (we collect data on the job market and run a salary survey which informs our members about the industry standards regards to job seeking and salary standards)

• In collaboration with our designers, create a new community page which integrates with pages like; billetto, vimeo, facebook, instagram etc.

• Be a voice that helps shape the future of CPHUX

Who are you working with?

You will be working directly with the co-founders Helena Levison (Community Lead) and Jayden Hanly (Job Match Lead). Helena is focused on creating a positive impact for the UX community and Jayden is focused on the job board product. You will be onboarded and mentored by our senior developer (who is currently not coding because he is on paternity leave but can assist you)

Where are we?

We co-lease with a digital design agency called Kvalifik in Amager. The office is always alive with people working on many different projects! It is also only a 5-minute walk away from Amagerbro metro station.

You don’t need to always work from the office, but will be called in for strategy meetings where your voice matters.

What do we pay?

125-160kr hour depending on experience. The workload will be around 10 hours a week. Your education is important to us, so we will make your work fit around your exams.
