We are a recently funded, Series A startup, with backing from top VCs Icebreaker, OpenOcean and ex-UiPath management, as well as MySQL founders. We are anticipating large growth over the next year and this is a perfect opportunity to come join the ride! 

We are looking for a senior (5+ years experience) fullstack software engineer who has experience in the front-end side of things but also wouldn’t mind developing other aspects. Most importantly, we are looking for someone who would help us bootstrap and write a stable version of our front end. As our working language is English, no Finnish is required.

We are currently using React but specific technologies are not important-what we care about most is fortifying our team with experience in front end development. Currently our team has great experience when it comes to data, the backend environment, and infrastructure but is missing experience in the front-which is where you come in!  

Our biggest challenge currently, is that we have large quantities of data which we want to turn into effective and compelling visualizations, especially while continuing to expand our process mining capabilities.

Some of the most interesting challenges that we are currently facing are:

1. Data collection: Preserving privacy is important to us (we are not an employee monitoring software) while still finding all of the most relevant information available 

2. Data processing: Storing and processing mass quantities of data in a sustainable way

3. Data visualization: While knowledge of front end data visualization is essential, the ability to extend and program new widgets is even more relevant.

What we expect from you:

As Workfellow’s team size and responsibility evolves with time, our main search criteria are  people who are willing to evolve along our team, product and company. Some of the characteristics that will make you pop:

1. This is a senior engineer position, as such, you should have several years of software development experience, ideally 5+.

2. Since our product is a greenfield product with much new design required, our small team has whiteboards as one of the essential tools. We would like our new team members to be able to join those sessions in Workfellow’s beautiful Maria 01 HQ at least a couple of times per month. An EU Work Permit is required.

3. Experience in SaaS product startups is preferred.

4. Experience with data mining, process optimization and process automation is highly appreciated.

What happens next?

After an initial CV screen, all applicants will go through a phone call with HR, one fit interview and at least two technical interviews including a technical test. We aim to move quickly and to take no longer than 2 weeks total during the recruitment process. Our requirements are urgent.
