A powerful wave is sweeping across the world – data privacy. This new paradigm brings new challenges as well: it imposes trade barriers and legal complexity, and makes it difficult for companies to know what they need to do.

Our experience is that most companies want to be good data citizens but don’t have the resources or knowledge to implement what's needed. We also know that many companies struggle to comply with new data privacy rules around the world. That's what we help with.

Your role

You’ll work on a wide range of exciting tasks and assume a high degree of responsibility. You’ll play a key part in making our customers achieve compliance and become better data citizens. 

You’ll be part of our privacy success team and you’ll be part of shaping the way we’ll build our customer success processes and communications. 

Some of the tasks will be:

• Guiding our customers on their privacy journey, 

• Onboarding our customers so they get the best start on their journey towards privacy compliance, 

• Communicating with potential customers and build relationships and assist our commercial team when potential customers have privacy questions,

• Communicating with data processors and assist our customers with privacy related issues,

• Maintain and refine internal processes that support to the goals of the organization, 

• Work together with Product in improving our product and creating new features,

• Assist with creating content for blogs, support articles etc. related to privacy,    

• Answer customer requests via email and on the phone as we take our customer service very seriously, and strive to be an example when it comes to supporting our customers. 

• Be in direct contact with and listen to our customers and processors to help them become Openli ambassadors. 

• Find new ways to decrease our churn rate and implement them.

• Be our best ambassador by embodying the philosophy and tone of our brand internally and externally.

The Requirements

We are looking for a person who loves working in the intersection between law and business - and who is interested in GDPR. You have the following skills: 

• Law degree (candidate level), cand.merc.jur or a lot of experience with GDPR,

• You can be newly graduated or have a few years experience, 

• Experience and knowledge of GDPR, 

• You are a people person that enjoys connecting with people,

• You feel comfortable working in a high-growth, fast-paced environment,

• You are comfortable reading, speaking, and writing English,

• You have a passion for our mission,

• You are proactive, organized, and focused on details and accuracy,

• You are curious, dedicated, and have a strong personal drive,

• A Danish full-time work permit is required for non-EU citizens.

We’re a venture-backed startup and our CEO, Stine Tornmark, is a privacy lawyer with extensive experience in building successful SaaS companies. The rest of us also bring substantial SaaS experience and we’re passionate about product-led growth, building products that make a difference and having a customer-centric focus.
