We are building the future digital health platform for improving the quality of life for people with chronic diseases. With our flagship product – RheumaBuddy – we are on a mission to help 3 million people with Rheumatoid Arthritis. And to reach that goal, we need you!
Are you a developer looking for the chance to work with Azure and the newest technologies, and - just as important - do you see yourself as part of a team helping people with chronic conditions? Then we would love to hear from you!
Our backend is 110% Azure based and we’re using Web Apps, App Functions, Data Factory, KeyVault, ducktape, Docker containers amongst others.
We put effort into keeping a modern, scalable platform. This means that we’re currently using C# 6 for most of the development, and aim to use best-practice software architectures and patterns (like domain driven design, microservice, event-driven, solid, and clean code). Plus, we actually use unit-testing and QA processes in order to maintain a high quality that we, and our users, can trust.
We use Scrum and encourage a culture with a high degree of involvement and ownership, as we believe this will create better products and create a better work environment.
You need to know C# and you need to be quite good – so you should have at least 5 years of experience creating backend solutions with a high degree of complexity. Educationally, you should have a bachelor’s degree (or higher) within a technical field.
Also, you should be experienced in:
REST based API’s
MS-SQL
Azure DevOps
SCRUM
Containers
And software architecture – as you will get responsibility for the parts that you’re doing.
As we’re on a journey to be more and more advanced with predictive elements, it would also be great if you have worked with data-analysis, AI or machine learning before.
Moreover, it is a plus if you have healthcare experience, worked with mobile development and continuous integration and delivery tools.
We are quite an international team, so we expect you to be confident with English as the company language, both orally and in writing. This position is based in our headquarter in Copenhagen, and we expect you to work in the office most of the time.
An exciting position with a very central role in the development and operation of HealthBuddy apps. You can see a direct effect of your actions and the role you fill. At the same time, there is a great development opportunity in the role, which will undoubtedly develop your competencies and your profile.
Salary package on a par with the challenges of the position, and with the option of partnership/warrant program for the longer term.
HealthBuddy's Head of Product, Claes Uldal, and HealthBuddy's Tech Lead, Gustav Hvilsted, are the contact persons if you have any questions about this role.
Of course, any contact is treated confidentially. During the process, we may use personality tests as well as face-to-face interviews and reference taking. Talks will take place on an ongoing basis, and we will continue the process until we have found the right candidate, but will also stop the process as soon as it has happened.
