We are looking for a proactive and quality driven person to join our team as a quality assurance tester in one of the most exciting fintech start-ups, developing innovative payment and checkout solutions to the eCommerce market.

Swiipe is a fintech start-up company, developing innovative payment and checkout solutions to the eCommerce market. Our focus is on ensuring the best buying experience for consumers across all platforms. Our innovative plugin-based products provide high value to both customers and businesses with relatively low competition in the current market. 

As a team we are strong, fun, ambitious and driven by the same goals, even though we come from and are working in different disciplines.

As a QA Tester at Swiipe you will: 

• Create test plans and test cases based on requirements and design documents

• Perform manual testing to identify bugs and defects in our plugin-based products and our websites

• Test our products on different operating systems to ensure compatibility with different devices and browsers

• Create detailed bug reports with screenshots, step-by-step explanations of how to reproduce the issue, and any other relevant information

• Report the bugs to our IT team using our task management tools

• Work closely with the product development team and our customer support to stay informed about any big releases coming up, any existing issues, feature requests, or unique customer cases

• Continuously strive to discover all the ways to abuse our products and setups (so we can fix it 😊)

• Continue to learn and improve, so you can optimize your workflows, get more efficient and grow in your role with the team and the company

• In other words, you will be our quality control, ensuring the products we ship are looking and working as expected, and are ready to be used by our customers.   

  
  

Who are you? 

You are independent, curious, and analytical. You have an eye for detail, you enjoy solving problems and you have good time management and communication skills.

You do not shy away from things you don’t understand, and instead try to use resources available to you to learn about it.

You are a self-driven and are comfortable working on your own but can also work with a team and are able to take and incorporate feedback.

You like learning and excelling.

No previous experience is required. We will teach you all you need right on the job.

However, it is a bonus if you do have any relevant experience (e.g. QA, automated testing, software development, etc.), and if that is the case, we are happy to reshape the role to better fit your skills.
