Senior 3D Environment Artist

Salary Competitive

We are busy finishing our sci-fi puzzle adventure COCOON, releasing in 2023 on major consoles and Steam. Published by Annapurna Interactive.

RESPONSIBILITIES

We are looking for a full-time Senior 3D artist to join our team in Copenhagen, starting as soon as possible. You will be part of a team concepting, designing and modeling 3D environment art for our top-down perspective game in collaboration with our art director and our game designer.

Working as a Senior 3D artist you will be modeling assets and geometry that fits the refined, stylized art style of the game. Our use of textures is very minimal; As such we are looking for someone who has excellent modeling skills and who revels in creating clean compelling shapes with few polygons.

You should also feel comfortable bringing your talents to most levels of the design process and working from pre-existing designs as well as coming up with new ones. There will be a strong focus on iteration and making the art elevate the puzzle designs.

A lot of the inspiration for the look of the game is heavily influenced by fine art painting, architecture, biology, sculpture, photography & film, modern graphic design, and classic sci-fi. We are hoping to find someone who embraces these other fields to see beyond videogame tropes.
