We are looking for a skilled and experienced backend- and data-heavy engineer to join our data engineering team!

Who we are

Firmnav is a fast-growing AI and data company headquartered in the heart of Copenhagen. We are working with leading enterprise commercial teams, helping them optimize their commercial strategy and execution using machine learning on their own and our proprietary company data.

We are empowering our customers with the next generation of machine learning-based customer analytics and sales prediction tools through our SaaS-platform as well as some tailored data science projects.

Tasks and Responsibilities

• Expanding and developing integrations with CRM systems

• Integrating new data sources into our data pipeline of company information  

• Developing ad hoc data extraction and transformation scripts

Your Background

Expected

• Experience with ES6 and NodeJS

• Experience with SQL (we use Postgres)

• Solid understanding of TypeScript

• Experience with software engineering best practices (.e.g: unit testing, code reviews, design documentation)

Great, but not mandatory 

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes 

• Experience with distributed queue and messaging systems (Kafka, RabbitMQ, Pubsub)

• Familiar with ORMs like TypeORM

• Experience with database design

• Experience with Elasticsearch
