Job Description

We are looking for a Scrum Master to facilitate our agile teams, to make sure we follow our defined processes and ensure smooth execution of our ongoing stream of delivering value to our customers. The candidate we are looking for has already experience in agile ways of working - as a Scrum Master or an Agile Coach and has profound knowledge of agile methodologies.

You will work daily with our development and research teams to guide and support them on their journey to quality work, inspiring them to continuously improve and own the outcomes that we have planned on delivering.

You will engage at an individual level with team members and other leaders (tech leads / CTO) to provide your coaching support to them in becoming better agilists. You will meet them where they are and will be patient to accept their natural pace, but you will be uncompromising to live up to our shared values and principles. The Role

You will:

• Facilitate teams and ensure agile processes are understood, implemented and followed through teaching, driving and mentoring

• Coordinate work around planning, getting sprints ready for execution, sprint demo, retrospective

• Coach teams and individuals formally and informally, striving to unlock the potential in everyone

• Help drive positive and impactful behavior change amongst your colleagues

• Help create a continuous learning culture in & across our engineering teams

• Help our teams on their journey towards more value creation and better collaboration

• Be a defender of agile principles, interpreted as delivering value early and often

• Bring forward the can-do attitude in the teams and individuals

• Work closely with the dev team and stakeholders around the team (e.g. Product and CTO)

Required Competences and Expectations

We expect that:

• One or more Scrum Master certifications

• You have 3+ years of experience and practical understanding working as Scrum Master or Agile Coach. Previous experience in the role of Product Owner counts as a big bonus.

• You are a skilled facilitator who can confidently organize effective collaboration online with distributed participants

• You have coaching and teaching experience and can genuinely assist people grow as agilists

• You understand and know how to practically enable collaboration and teamwork

• You are uncompromising when it comes to quality of work and following agile values and principles – while recognizing that one size doesn’t fit all

• You generally have strong people skills and that you are a great communicator and fluent in spoken and written English

• You are open minded with curiosity and flexibility to adapt your experience to new and evolving environments

Competences that will benefit your application

• Experience with agile work in scale-ups and SaaS companies

• Some understanding of AI or Search related products is a plus

• Experience with parts of the teams working from different locations
