Do you love being the connection point between people and care about impacting the gender balanced agenda in Denmark? Then we need your help. PWN Copenhagen (Professional Women’s Network) is a non-profit organization with the vision to educate, empower, and engage on improving gender balanced leadership in business, politics, and society. It is one of the oldest professional networks for women in Denmark and still one of the only ones run in English to support international as well as local members.

We are looking for a part-time intern with ambition and heart to work closely with our VPs of Memberships, Events, and Communication to make sure we have timely, valuable engagement with our network members and community.

Your tasks will change from week to week but will include: 

• Being a first point of contact for existing and prospective network members when they need help

• Drafting and posting events on our website

• Posting insights and updates on our social media channels and in our newsletter

• Attending events when possible and supporting the events team where needed

• Working closely with our VP of Membership to track and evaluate our member group and make improvements to how we engage them online and in person

You may be a student, a person on family leave, a person looking to add more purpose and impact to their daily life with some free time per week, or something else. The hours committed per week are negotiable but ideally can commit for a minimum of 3 months and ideally more as a core team member. What matters most is that you can work with multiple stakeholders, are structured in your way of working, can be proactive and curious in solving problems, and overall care about connecting people in meaningful ways.

We’re a small team of volunteers coming from a variety of professional and national backgrounds. The successful candidate will get exposure in how to run a community based non-profit, personal and professional growth experiences in practice and as part of the content and events we put on, as well as an instant network in Denmark and internationally as part of the PWN Global network.
