Our aim is to bring our convenient and affordable bike share to all cities around the world, and increase the use of bikes in the cities. 

We also pride ourselves on being a highly sustainable business. Our bikes footprint everyday by moving people from less sustainable modes of transport on to our bikes and ebikes. We hereby improve public health, reduce CO2 emissions and congestion. 

About the role:

The Chief Rider Officer will be responsible for most of the revenue that the company earns, overseeing all decisions concerning the Rider business. You will be one of the four executive managers in the team, working closely with operations, (B2G/B2B) sales, software and hardware product teams as well as business intelligence.

You will:

• Plan our rider strategy for each of the markets, where we operate the bikes. That is approximately 20 cities with 6 key cities.

• Lead pricing decisions

• Lead decisions on fleet size and growth plans for each market

• Lead decisions on rider software platform investments, collaborating with the software product team

• Drive decisions through Return on Investment considerations in marketing, product, new city launches. 

You will have:

• BI team helping with data analysis

• Software product team building product

• Hardware product team designing bikes and ebikes

• Operations team execute on the bike operations, and relocations

• Own team of ±10 FTEs, mostly focused on marketing / communication / content, and rider support

What we expect:

• Business experience, have been entrepreneurial or have had significant P/L responsibility

• Mobility industry experience, ideally from bike related business, if not scooters

• Marketing and/or product development experience

• Understanding of European culture(s)

• This position requires 20-30% travel in Europe
