Inbound Sales/Customer Support - internship (20 hrs per week)

JOB DESCRIPTION 

We are looking for a top-notch inbound sales executive to be the first point of contact for new members applying to live in a LifeX apartment. You will be introducing new members to our housing concept over the phone or on a video call and handling all (e-mail) contact afterwards to get them set up with the perfect home. 

Being part of a fast-paced startup, you will have the chance to grow and learn all about inbound sales and pipeline management. As a part of the Marketing and Sales team, you will be working closely with our Senior Inbound Sales Manager and our Head of Booking.

We have an amazing office in the middle of the meatpacking district in Copenhagen, but we are a remote-friendly company, so you also have the opportunity to work from wherever you are - or want to be.  

We are looking for someone to join us as soon as possible for a period of 6 months for 20 hours per week, these hours will generally be planned on business days between 9.00 and 17.00. The internship is paid and we have an additional bonus structure, but be aware that this is a learning position and not a part-time job. 


WHAT WILL YOU BE DOING 

  • Reach out to potential new members who have signed up on our website by phone and e-mail.

  • Conducting (video) calls with potential new members to:

    • Promote LifeX mission and values and excite applicants about joining the LifeX community

    • Provide support to help new members find their ideal home and get through the process smoothly

  • Setting up and sending out contracts and coordinating with our local Community and Operations Team on the ground to ensure a smooth handover.

  • Handle all incoming email enquiries from our housing listing portals and keep our listings up to date.

  • Gather and streamline data that will help the Marketing Team improve lead quality.


WHAT WILL YOU NEED TO SUCCEED  

  • You are not afraid of picking up the phone and talking to people from all over the world. You can make anyone feel comfortable and welcome with your service-oriented, enthusiastic and sincere personality. 

  • Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills. You need to be able to juggle multiple tasks and manage a lot of information coming at you from various channels.

  • Ambition to succeed and a self-motivator. Working in a startup means that not all processes are defined yet and you will need to be hands-on from the start.

  • General computer skills and the ability to pick up new tools, Google is your best friend. It’s a plus if you already know your way around Hubspot.

  • Fluent in written and spoken English (a must!).
