@ Pat The Head - August 1st 2022 to December 1st 2022 (4 months)
Since we developed our award-winning narrative game Journey of the Broken Circle, we've been busy with getting our new game (working title Winterby) up and running.
Winterby is a feel-good 2D Snowboarding RPG in an isometric pixel-art style, where you can discover the world on your own terms. It is up to you to focus on your snowboarding skills, explore the town and the mountain or fulfil as many quests as possible. Through-out your journey, you meet quirky characters, learn about the beginnings of snowboarding and the Olympics and have a pancake on the piste.
We are looking for a skilled Game Developer with some practical Unity knowledge who will help us build this 2D Sports Story RPG. You will be involved in various aspects of games creation from concept to finished product including coding, design and production.
We are looking for someone, for our office in central Copenhagen, who believes games can be different and lovable, and someone who is not afraid to try new things. We are a small team and you will take big part of building and shaping the game.
Help us take this wacky idea of a sports RPG with an underdog story to fruition.
We believe that games can have a deeper meaning, an engaging story as well as be fun to play, and so should you! :D
You will, in close cooperation with the game director, get to develop the mechanics of snowboarding into fun 2D pixel representations. You will be part of development all the way from ideas to a fully playable demo. You will put your fingerprint on everything from the story to the game feel.
