What is the role of a Business Development Manager?
As our Business Development Manager, your primary focus will be to ensure the sales of our product to clients by leading and driving Business Development. You will also together with the Marketing Manager and the rest of the management team work on building our SoMe and lead generating activities.
Every day will be different, and you should be willing to go from online demo meetings to participate in building our commercial go to-market approach. We also hope to recruit our future head of business development in this role.
You will be responsible for:
Providing insights and needs for strategic planning
Initiating contact and establishing dialogues and relations with customers
Closing collaboration with both product and support team to ensure feature feedback is handled
Help optimizing customer success together with our Customer Success team
Establishing relations with potential clients
Supporting development of strategic partnership
Building, managing, and maintaining a robust sales’ pipeline of leads
What does it take to succeed?
For you to be successful in this position, you contain a passion for clients and contain a profound understanding of how to manage them. On a personal level, you are an extrovert, energetic and positive person with an ambitious mindset looking to growth. Most importantly, you must possess emotional intelligence and an entrepreneurial mindset. In this start-up environment, the sky is the limit.
Profile needs to have:
+ 5 years of experience within sales and business development, preferably within a SaaS company
A relevant degree within business
Swedish or Danish combined with excellent English skills
Profile – nice to have:
