About Daman

Daman was founded in 2002 to help people with chronic diseases improve their overall quality of life and get in control of their own disease, while reducing healthcare costs. We collaborate with pharmaceutical companies to create these digital solutions and make them more accessible to patients.

In Daman, we have our superstar product team - HealthBuddy - currently comprising several mobile solutions for HIV, Rheumatoid Arthritis (RA), cancer and psoriasis patients, among others. With our mobile applications, people can get in control of their disease by tracking how they feel, and therefore build routines that make them live better days.

What will you be doing?

Since we're a small marketing team, you will be doing EVERYTHING marketing related (marketing strategy, email, paid, organic, leadgen, website, content, social media, PR - you name it, we do it). 

You’ll be doing some grunt work (although we all get our own coffee), but you’ll also take ownership of your own projects and channels.

We will spend the first few weeks going through every marketing channel we currently run. You will try it out, test new methods and improve our campaigns, and we'll see where you performed best and what you liked most. Then, you'll continue building your competencies around those areas.

The practicalities

🔎 We are looking for an ambitious last semester student in Marketing, Communication, Branding or Business (or similar) with an interest in healthcare and digital health.

⏳ The internship will be 6 months long with school credit, and is intended to turn into a student position afterwards.

🧑‍🤝‍🧑 You will be working directly with our CMO Sara, who will get you up to speed and get your marketing skills to the next cosmic level. You will also get to spar with our advisor Jakob - a self-proclaimed genius. There will also be projects in collaboration with our CEO and founder Andreas, our Marketing and Sales Assistant Kagiso, as well as colleagues in the product team.

🍻 We are a young, energetic team with veterans that will welcome you with open arms and a Tuborg (even if it's not Friday)

🚀 The marketing team is small but growing, which is why you will play a key role where your opinion is always heard. We expect you to be curious and come up with questions. You will see a direct effect of your actions as there is a short time from decision to implementation, and you will be right in the nitty-gritty of the execution phase.
