We are looking for a Database Developer with an in-depth knowledge of OLTP development and some knowledge in ETL, DWH and AWS tools. A proactive individual who is keen to take initiative and find solutions when presented with new challenges. You will collaborate closely with our product team to make high-performance and scalable solutions that will shape the parking industry of tomorrow.

About Simplyture:

Based in Copenhagen, Simplyture was founded in 2015 with the aim of reducing the complexity of commercial parking through innovation and artificial intelligence. Our products are making the parking experience simpler, for both businesses and consumers. Our unique team consists of people with expertise within AI, complex technical solutions, business strategy from management consulting, and successful serial entrepreneurs. We are currently looking for a Database Developer to join our team.

Your Responsibilities:

• Work closely with product team in an agile environment, to implement effective solutions to stated needs.

• Some DBA related tasks, such as monitoring server performance.

• Hands-on database architecture, design principles, and procedures.

• Optimise and maintain existing data pipelines to improve performance and data quality.

• Set up ETL process.

• Maintain DWH. 

Required Skills:

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, related technical field, or equivalent experience.

• Minimum of 3 years database developer experience (SQL server or equivalent).

• Strong knowledge of T-SQL, incl. troubleshooting and performance tuning.

• Coding best practices.

• Experience working with AWS.

• Experience working with source control tools.

• Agile mindset and experience of Scrum.

• Fluent in English (effective communicator).

It’s a plus if you have worked with:

• tSqlT (unit test).

• Matillion (or any other ETL tool).

• Redshift.

• QuickSight.
