Who are we and what do we do?

We are a dedicated team working to develop safe, sustainable and cellulose-based alternatives to plastic and fossil-based materials. Our vision is to make an impact on the climate and pollution crisis the world is experiencing today using the most abundant natural polymer on Earth; Cellulose.

Currently, we are working on scaling the production of our material. Our business is growing and we need your help.


What do we offer?

You will be working directly with our co-founder and CFO, Parun Sihombing, who is managing the strategic financial planning, reporting and day-to-day operations of Cellugy. You will get the chance to gain experience and know-how about what it takes to manage the finances of a young and agile startup.


We are offering:

  • A paid part-time student position on 40 hours per month

Who are we looking for?

In Cellugy we often work with an objective-based mindset, and we trust that our colleagues are fulfilling the goals we set together. We will set the goals and expectations together and provide you with the guidance you need to grow and succeed as our financial assistant. That is why we are looking for a motivated and proactive person, who is comfortable with an active role in structuring their everyday work schedules based on their tasks. Proficiency with numbers is central to assisting the financial operations in collaboration with Parun. Ideally, you are studying a bachelor's or master's in economics, accounting or business administration and are eager to put your skills to use in practice.


What do you need to succeed?

  • A drive to learn and grow your competencies in an agile startup environment

  • An analytical mindset with attention to detail

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications – Excel skills are especially valued

  • Proficiency in English as most of our team have international backgrounds
