Head of Marketing
We're looking for a Head of Marketing who wants to help us build a more sustainable world and a world-class marketing team.
GLOBHE is scaling and this is a key position for us to be able to reach our ambitions. It starts off as a one-year engagement to sub for our current Head of Marketing while on maternity leave with the successful candidate having a high chance of staying on board and growing within the company beyond this initial period. In this role, you will partner up with the rest of the management team, drive the marketing development to the next level, help increase sales, spearhead our international growth and position us as a leader in the SaaS industry, earth observation data, and drone industry. Your main mission will be to establish a structure and foster a culture that drives digital sales, with the ultimate target being us selling more data than ever before and while doing so enable decision-makers to build a more sustainable world.
Our marketing team is currently small and consists of GLOBHE Team members as well as our Crowddroning Ambassadors around the world. You are ideally based in Stockholm, Sweden. Other locations can be considered as the perfect candidate as we are a highly digital company but value balancing digital with in-person meets. Fluency in English is required, and Swedish is a big plus. You will report to the CEO.
What you'll do - key responsibilities
Shape, implement and execute GLOBHE’s marketing funnel and digital sales strategy to accelerate revenue growth.
Scale and grow the global team as necessary and needed, ensuring we meet our ambitious targets at the right time.
Manage, mature, and develop the team, fostering a sustainable and high-performing marketing and sales culture using sharp and accurate KPIs.
Champion a data-driven and structured marketing and sales approach, assuring we approach our markets and our target audience(s) in a highly deliberate way.
Collaborate closely with our Head of Business Development, Success Manager, Chief Technology Officer, and the rest of the team on all things related to the product, marketing, digital sales, and company success.
Remain calm in a fast-moving environment, making sure we stay focused and making sure we stand out.
Your profile
We are looking for an experienced leader who knows the importance of marketing to drive sales, storytelling, branding, and positioning. We believe you have significant experience from an equivalent position and that you come with a background in a startup/scaleup environment. You understand the dynamics of a startup's commercial situation and what it takes to promote and help sell a product through digital sales. Furthermore, we consider it a big plus if you have experience in the drone data industry or earth observation industry. And importantly, you’ve built and scaled a highly efficient marketing team previously in your career. Your expertise lies within marketing and the digital sales areas of this scope, and you thrive in an iterative, execution-driven environment where you are part of creating the path forward and where time, quality, and mindset always is of essence.
Quick changes and decision-making appear natural to you and you are often described as a level-headed and mature leader who puts the team first. Needless to say, you share our values when it comes to sustainability and social impact.
All in all, you are a doer who gets things done. Your peers are impressed by your positive energy and capability of seeing the bigger picture as well as paying attention to important details. You seek guidance and assistance when needed, but are fine with taking your own responsibility and guiding yourself forward. You understand and value that working in a startup requires you to dig in when and where it’s needed and that a set work description is difficult to offer.
