About you

You have experience with managing a café, restaurant or/and bar. You always stay positive and keep your head cool especially when the café is busy. You are the rock that reminds your guests and your co-workers to keep spirits high at all times. At Yum the café guests and yogis should feel that Yum is a place to re-energise. We want people, staff, yogis, café guests to feel welcome and a part of the Yum-family. A fun, friendly, honest and cheeky family.Yum needs you, if you can put your soul and heart into it.

You are hard-working and know how to set goals and reach them in a well-structured, efficient and professional manner.

You need to have a nose for business, and endlessly love the search for ways to increase the happiness and amount of customers, while with efficiency, keeping costs at a minimum, in regards to salary-, produce- and other costs. You need to understand the economy behind a café and work independently. The owner will be on maternity leave from September 2022, so you also need to thrive and be motivated by taking responsibility and running it like it was your own business. You will be working closely with Yum's commercial director & yoga manager.     

Your previous experience has taught you to

• Stay positive even in the busiest hours and keep your head cool at all times

• Be a team player and understand the importance of the team leader’s responsibility to build the culture that your customers and coworker will love

• Have a flair for economy and be motivated by reaching your goals, by minimising costs and optimising workflows, sales, and procedures

• Understand that the job requires extra hours of interest, and stepping in when needed

• To be hard-working, responsible and take pride in being so

The position includes the following

• Recruitment

• Planning the staff schedule

• Planning and executing staff meetings

• Motivating and training staff

• Improving efficiency of workflows and structures

• Developing the café

• Keeping system of the storage, café and kitchen

• Checking stock   

• Ordering ingredients from our suppliers

• Cooking, making coffee and handling customers  

• You shall expect to be working weekends and evenings if needed
