As a Tour Guide with Loop Tours, you get the chance to share your passion for Copenhagen, Biking and Sustainability with travellers visiting the Danish Capital while earning some pocket-money.
Get away from the screen and lead a small group on the bike paths and parks to known attractions and hidden gems. The best tours are the ones, where our guests feel like they get to know you, and you get to know to them. The tour becomes a special experience because you show them things you anticipate would be interesting for that particular group. Naturally, you need to have a strong sense of hospitality, be service-minded and empathic. Languages are always a plus.
What else is expected from you?
Bring your whole self: Your life story gives context to your views of the city.
Plan your schedule and commit: Once every two weeks on Monday? Friday and Saturday afternoon? It's up to you, but you need to be able to stick to the agreement.
City Planning, Psychology, History, Food Science, Literature, Botanics or Photography? There are many angles to view a city from and all of them can be equally capturing. While we give guidance and have scripted talks, the most memorable stories are unique to the guide and spoken from the heart.
You are comfortable guiding a small group, you are patient in training them how to ride a cargo bike and you will help them get through Copenhagen safely.
You stay calm, even when things go unplanned and become hectic.
You are positive, optimistic about life and believe that people are generally good.
