About the position:

We’re on a mission to set the translation market free and empower freelance translators across the globe to interact and serve their clients effectively with cutting edge technology. We help professional translators connect with customers and streamline their collaboration in one simple app to make sure they focus on what they love doing rather than administrative tasks and chasing new business. To help support our rapid growth we are looking for a dynamic and commercially minded individual to drive translator adoption on our app and ensure our many talented translators get the help they need to grow and sustain their business on EasyTranslate. As a Translator Coordinator you will:

• Plan and host events and seminars for translators across the globe to build a learning and collaboration culture in our translator team

• Be in dialogue with many different professional groups of translators to ensure we stay connected with the needs of our different translators

• Engage with translators to understand their needs and pain points

• Work with our product team and management to improve our solution and suggest improvements

• Source, test and onboard translators for specific clients

• Handle quality complaints in collaboration with customers and translators

The ideal candidate is a commercially minded, outgoing individual who thrives on human contact and development. An important part of the role is to develop and drive our business vertical for translators. You will be responsible for translator retention, utilization as well as revenue generation and work with these and other KPIs to meet commercial targets.

Skills that make you a good fit for this role: 

• Strong command of English - Additional language skills (business proficiency) are an absolute advantage

• Excellent communication skills

• Experience interacting with different executive levels, both internally and externally

• Knowledge of Excel and Data Analysis principles

• A commercial mindset with great negotiation skills. You are able to balance customer/supplier interests with our company’s commercial goals

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, time-sensitive and deadline-driven work environment.
