The Sales team is an easy going group with a lot of diverse responsibilities. We are busy but always make time to help each other out if a teammate needs anything. We enjoy juggling many partners around the world and have a passion for sustainably growing our business by building new partnerships and growing existing ones.

As our new Export Sales Manager, you’ll take responsibility for the sales of our products through external distribution channels for a broad range of markets both in- and outside of Europe. We select our partners based on a variety of factors; some push volume while others strengthen the position of our brand within select subcultures. As such, an important part of your job will be to identify the right partners for SOUNDBOKS to maintain a healthy balance between growing profits and protecting the brand.

Okay, let’s make things a little more concrete. Here’s what we expect your daily life to look like:

  • You’ll build the distribution strategy, prospect for potential partners, and build a distribution pipeline for your designated territory, which will in the beginning be centered around, but not limited to, France, Italy, Spain and the UK.

  • You’ll expand existing- and develop new relationships to grow our business.

  • You’ll assist our partners with consultative sales and demand management.

  • You’ll educate our partners on the value of SOUNDBOKS.

  • You’ll consistently close new and sustainable business in accordance with our budgets.

  • You’ll provide updates for the Leadership team on your pipeline and sales forecast.

  • You’ll participate in the cross functional Market Teams for your markets and contribute to the overall go-to-market strategy.

  • You’ll collect feedback from your partners on new products and features to help shape the roadmap for SOUNDBOKS going forward.

We can handle many things from our office in Copenhagen, but you should expect to have 30-40 travel days in this role.

In order to become a success in this role, we believe that your profile should be aligned with the bullets listed below. However, we acknowledge that success can take many forms, so please do apply even if you don’t tick all the boxes.

  • You have a solid sales track record from working in Consumer Electronics, Fashion or a lifestyle brand. There’s no upper limit for experience in this role but we believe you should have at least 5 years of relevant sales experience behind you.

  • You’re a people person, whom we can entrust with the relationship of our much loved external partners.

  • You thrive in an environment with a large degree of personal responsibility and ownership. You’re able to cooperate with the people around you while creating results independently.

  • You have excellent communication and negotiation skills, yet a very humane approach that properly reflects the values of our brand.

  • You have a great understanding of how an omni-channel approach drives sales and branding.

  • You’re able to confidently negotiate in the English language, and it’s a great plus if you master an additional global language such as Spanish or French.
