Marketing intern with superstar ambitions ☄️

Salary Unpaid

Turned on by umbrellas? 🤔

Umbrellas. Hotel umbrellas. Hotel umbrella technology. Getting all warm inside? 💦 We can go on. There are many more exciting things to say here. Umbrella sharing. Hotel amenities. Guest journey. Just don't blame us for getting all fired up already when it's clearly your own little fetish at work here😏

Jokes aside - this is the job:

Content planning, implementation and analysis

Marketing automation design, implementation and analysis

Meaningful work

Honestly though. The marketing work at Dripdrop is a blast and an ultimately meaningful experience.

🌱Because we plant a tree every time an umbrella is rented and the umbrellas are made from recycled materials.

🏨Because we work with brands like Marriott, Radisson and Hilton and so on.

😅Because we help our customers with the essential problem of making sure their guests are delighted - instead of pissed off - on rainy days.

💓Because our customers love our product.

📲Because we're clearly a B2B company but we think and act like a B2C brand and that's FUN!

🧬Because we are a small and action focused company with a love for experimenting.

🏗Because we're still building the marketing foundation for Dripdrop (say "your work will matter" without saying "your work will matter").

🚀The Dripdrop spaceship is gearing up and in the early stage of an intense growth phase. (sorry for another tired travelling related metaphor for startups😴).

Who are you?

You definitely:

  • Thinks the above makes sense and sounds like fun.

  • Don't think ICP stands for Insane Clown Posse.

  • Have prioritised lists of your top five B2C and B2B brands.

  • Have unashamed affection for marketing.

  • Rather would get started than have a perfect plan.

  • Enjoy learning new systems and software.

You probably:

  • Follow at least one nerdy weekly newsletter.

  • Have a favorite marketing podcast.

  • Have worked with advertising on Meta and/or Linkedin.

  • Feel that most applications in Adobe CC is as common knowledge as MS Word.

  • Have a favorite LinkedIn influencer.

  • Feel that fiddling with some simple web code when necessary is about as common knowledge as switching to English when travelling abroad.

  • Feel some kind of way about Google Analytics.

  • Mmmmm, dashboards 🤤

  • Think creating simple videos is a bit like cooking pasta, who doesn't know how to do that?

You might (if you start checking these boxes, we'll consider making an umbrella with your face on it):

  • Be fluent in Webflow.

  • Publish your own email newsletter already.

  • Be an emerging TikTok influencer.

Practical

  • Preferably working at least part-time from our office in Aarhus (but who cares if the match is right?)

  • Application deadline: June 15

  • Interviews: June 20-Jun 23

  • Start: August. End: Let's discuss.

Working at
Dripdrop

Dripdrop is a tech company helping the world’s best hotels offer stylish, eco-friendly umbrellas to their guests and in doing so, we’re disrupting the built-to-break culture. Most products today are designed to fail so companies can sell more. We do the opposite. Our umbrellas are built to last, to be shared, and to be repaired. The longer they stay in use, the better it is for both the planet and our business. That’s the kind of circular thinking we believe should shape the future. Hotels usually spend surprising amounts of time and resources managing umbrellas on rainy days. Guests just want to stay dry and that’s where we come in. Dripdrop automates the whole experience, making it simple, reliable, and fun instead of stressful. We’re already in more than 1,500 hotels across 25 countries, including Scandic, Radisson, Marriott, and Hilton and growing fast. At Dripdrop, we believe that great companies are built by people who grow together. We value curiosity, courage, and collaboration more than titles or hierarchy. We’re a team of 24 people from across the world, Brazil, Denmark, the US, Slovakia, the Netherlands, Romania, Italy, Lithuania, Sweden, Hungary, Marocco, UK, Poland, Russia, Chile, Croatia and Iceland, united by a shared goal of doing meaningful work with a smile on our faces. Every second week is a 4-day work week, giving everyone time to recharge and stay inspired. We believe in individual freedom with collective responsibility. We celebrate progress, not perfection. And we’re constantly evolving, because standing still is the fastest way to fall behind. If you want to help change how products are made, shared, and valued, Dripdrop might be your next adventure.
