To stay ahead of the curve, we are hiring a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to help provide the premium service for which Avian is known.

 

About the role.

As a Cloud Infrastructure Engineer, you will have the opportunity to make your own mark on the scalable architecture of our cloud infrastructure.

You will be working on internal product development and customer projects. Your main tasks will include, but not limited to, researching, planning, deploying, and documenting cloud components solutions. Also, there will be development of automations, data flows and dashboards (using ELK stack), as well as maintaining Avian’s infrastructure in the cloud and in Avian’s on-premise datacenter. You will also be part of a rotational 24hr on-call duty 1-2 days per week, performing routine tasks like user administration and responding to system alerts.

As an international company, we expect you to be comfortable communicating in English, both written and verbally.

 

About you.

  • Working experience 1-3 years or equivalent of full-time experience with Azure, AWS or Google Cloud Platform.

  • Working experience 1-3 years or equivalent of full-time experience with Windows Server and Linux Servers installation and management.

  • Network hardening, endpoint security, and IT compliance concepts.

  • Drive to automate repetitive tasks.

  • Ability to explain complex topics in ways that can be understood by non-technical, technical users and business decision makers.

  • Ability to match technical solutions with customer business requirements.

  • Strong task management and crisis management skills.

  • Having a cost-effective mindset.

  • Government security clearance is a condition throughout the employment.

 

Bonus Skills

  • Having experience with Digital Forensics or eDiscovery tools in general, particularly Nuix.

  • Microsoft Azure, specifically.

  • Experience in shell scripting and automation tools.

  • Being fluent in Danish.

  • Being a “Stand-up guy”.
