We now have the opportunity to look for a Junior Project Manager to join our awesome and growing team. We're on a mission to scale our operations and maximize value to our existing and future customers.
As a Junior Project Manager at Penneo you will be primarily contribute in the execution of strategic cross-organizational projects in alignment with the Penneo Strategy.
Furthermore you will support the VP of Business Governance & Development (BG&D) in projects and initiatives deriving from management.
As our future Junior Project Manager, we foresee the following responsibilities, but you’ll have the opportunity and freedom to influence and define it with us.
Project manage cross-organizational strategic projects.
Contribute to the success of the project, by managing the different project stages, project participants and the various project Boards (Steering Committees).
Engage project participants in supporting and delivering on activities from early scoping stage to the conclusive project wrap-up and ensuring that initiatives are embedded in the operations.
Executing project subtasks ‘hands-on’ across departments and taking the time to document the project development.
Business leadership and strategy watchdog: enhancing collaboration across the entire Penneo team to ensure that we prioritize tasks and projects that are aligned with the strategy.
Contribute to the execution and development of company strategy.
Building processes and structures for a fast-growing organization and ensuring these are followed.

Have 1-2 years of experience in the project management of projects that run across the organization, to ensure the development of the business in accordance with our strategy.
Have the ability to quickly absorb project complexity to translate it into actionable and comprehensible tasks for a project team.
You are able to motivate and engage colleagues across departments.
Enjoy building relationships across the organization.

During the 1st month you will:
Be onboarded and mentored by your team to get comfortable with the new position and the company culture.
Participate in Penneo’s onboarding program for all new Penneos.
Develop expertise that relates to project ownerships and SaaS in general.
Build an understanding of our strategy to its core and contribute to the execution of new and current projects.
Have a clear overview of your collaborators and stakeholders in the running projects.
Follow-up and have feedback sessions with direct manager who will beside you during your development journey.
Within 6 months you will:
Have proven and developed yourself as a competent project manager that can own and execute upon cross-organizational strategic projects with expectations to develop into this role.
Develop and run - from a project management perspective - the operational excellence journey for smooth collaboration across departments.
Assist the project participants in delivering on project subtask and facilitating progress reporting to the Steering Committees.
Ensure that your project grids are the foundation for project execution across departments.
Follow-up and feedback session with direct manager to ensure the right development.
Within 12-24 months you will:
Show evident leadership skills in successfully executing cross-organizational project with multiple stakeholders and ready for an expanded responsibility area with minor leadership-responsibility.
Firmly lead strategically critical projects and succeed in engaging and motivating stakeholders across departments for delivery.
Have adapted and improved communications skills from the communications training attended in, in the first 6 months.
Continuously ensuring communication internally and externally the why and its relation to the Penneo strategy.
Follow-up and feedback session with direct manager to ensure the right development.

Collaboration round (~1h): Together with two team members you will discuss your approach to a problem scenario to assess collaboration fit and ways of working.
Meet and greet with two main Penneo' stakeholders (~45h).
The practicalities (~45m): Closing talks with Morten, our VP of Business Governance & Development, agreeing about compensation, starting date, and all other practical details.
