About Momio:

Momio is a small tech company that operates the social media platform by the same name. It has a central office in the heart of Copenhagen, and employees working remotely from all around the world. At Momio we focus on creating free, playful and safe environments that educate kids in online behavior. We apply a Nordic approach to digital responsibility and AI by focusing on data minimization and privacy by design and default. A third of the world’s internet users are children and adolescents under 18 years of age, but the majority of services they use are not made for them. Our goal is to give kids a great first social media experience by surrounding them with good friends in a playful and safe environment.

About the job:

As we have a lot of development projects lined up, we are looking for a motivated developer to work closely with our CTO and our commercial and safety teams to assist in day-to-day development tasks and do some testing and bug-fixing as well.

We offer a job in an informal organization with a fun and flexible workday with an office in central Copenhagen. We are an international team, where teamwork and cooperation are essential. Danish is not required but fluency in English is.

We estimate you will work 10 – 20 hours per week and you will be able to work from home or from our office in the heart of Copenhagen, Denmark. As we grow, a full-time position may become available to you.

• Are highly proficient in Java and Javascript.

• Is an analytical thinker, with an open mind and is quick to learn.

• Is self-directed and self-motivated and has the ability to perform under pressure and in a fast paced environment.

The following skills/experience are not required, but will be considered a plus:

• Experience from a similar position.

• MySQL database.

• Experience with HTML5 web-apps.

• Cordova.

• Objective-C.
