Nordetect is on a mission to improve the way chemicals are used in the food chain. We are a DeepTech company that produces Lab-on-a-chip devices and SaaS products for environmental and agricultural testing. Our products enable farm managers, greenhouse growers, and vertical farmers to reduce risk and ensure richer harvests by leveraging data that is easy to understand and implement.

We're growing our customer base and are looking for new members to join us on this mission.

The position is an opportunity to be part of our journey to meet the growing demand for creating a safer and transparent food chain and gain experience working with tech-driven B2B sales and Customer Relationship Management.

Growing our Pipeline

As a Business Development Rep, you will work at the top of the funnel, from generating leads to booking sales-qualified meetings. You will work closely with the CEO to interpret customer feedback and optimize our strategy and tactics. You will join our growing commercial team and work alongside a dynamic and multi-disciplinary technical team at Copenhagen Bio Science Park (COBIS).

Your tasks include: 

  • Prospecting for new leads using a mixed approach of Social Media, industry lists, and inbound interest from our website.

  • Conducting outreach in the vertical farming and indoor agriculture industries in North America and Western Europe.

  • Qualifying leads using our Ideal Customer Profile (ICP) and developing relations with key stakeholders at the customer's end.

  • Routine management of our CRM system (Hubspot)

Your Profile:

We're looking for a driven and ambitious colleague to join us on this mission-critical side of the business. Age and experience are not show stoppers.

  • Independent and self-motivated individual who takes initiative.

  • Fluent English is a necessity. Fluent Danish is a plus but not required.

  • A keen interest in technology and how tech is changing the agricultural and food industry

  • Tech-savvy when it comes to learning how to use new software to optimize your work.

  • Completed degrees are great. Prior sales experience is better.

  • Happy to work with International customers and grow with the job

Nordetect was founded with a vision of enabling farmers and growers around the world to produce quality food with the least amount of resources.
