Port 6 builds new kind of controllers for augmented reality. We think that the current input systems are too cumbersome when everything behaves like a hologram. Our focus is creating wearable controllers that focus on micro-gestures – we believe that AR interaction should be tactile, discreet and effortless. We have designers shaping the direction of future interactions, and engineers making those dreams come true with machine learning and custom sensor stacks.

We want you to help us take this futuristic technology to the real world by building tools that developers love to use. At the same time, you will use the tools yourself by developing XR demos and by taking our quick and dirty XR prototypes to the next level. You will be working closely with our design team, so you will never get short of ideas and visions.

Responsibilities

  • Building integrations between our technology and XR applications

  • Implementing and polishing XR demonstrations

  • Guiding us in the fog of possibilities regarding XR tools and integrations

  • Advocating for the XR developer perspective

  • You understand and are able to communicate the XR developer's perspective regarding our tools,

  • You like polishing things, yet you know when to wrap up the current iteration.

  • A solid grip on development processes – at least whenever there is a need.

  • You thrive in a flexible and self-directed environment with sometimes vague project definitions

Plus if

  • Experience with Bluetooth or networked applications

  • You are full of ideas

  • Experience with remote work
