At GamerPay we are building a marketplace where gamers can trade their skins & in-game assets safely. We are seeing a tectonic shift where gaming is becoming the new social and where gamers now spend more on their digital outfits and wearables than offline. Still we see people getting scammed and gamers finding it hard to trade on legit sites. We launched GamerPay in May 2021 in Denmark and are currently growing 20% month-on-month and continuing our expansion in Northern Europe.
We’ve participated in Y-Combinator and got backed by Michael Seibel (Co-founder of Twitch) and raised our seed round with investors like FCVC (Silicon Valley), Preseed Ventures (Denmark), Frederik Byskov (co-founder of Astralis) and Heini Zachariassen (co-founder Vivino).
Now we are looking to grow our frontend capabilities by adding an engineer who will work side-by-side with our two co-founding engineers. We offer an opportunity to work around gaming everyday in a relaxed environment, where you get to influence everything from how we work to which games we work with. On top we offer flexible work arrangements (although our energy spikes when we are jointly in the office), state of the art tech to keep you productive and a fridge+cupboard filled with the “gasoline” to keep you going.
