We are currently looking for an assistant (Volunteer/Intern) to support our Partnerships department.

Job description

As a Nordic Partnership Assistant, you have the opportunity to get in touch with numerous companies through the Nordic and Baltic macroregion. You are expected to set up meetings and develop relationships with companies from different key selected industries. This position is in assistance to the Global Partnership Manager and supports the overall establishment of TechBBQ as a Nordic Baltic tech community player.

What you'll do

• Scout and reach out to companies

• Understand the values and opportunities provided by TechBBQ for various stakeholders in the tech ecosystem

• Present and negotiate with C-level managers

• Support the creation of industry specific tracks at the event.

Skills required

• Basic Knowledge of Microsoft Office packages / Google alternatives.

• Comfortable in reaching out to stakeholders, cold calling.

• Empathy and interpersonal skills.

• Previous experience in account management or sales required.

• Understanding of concepts such as startups, funding and tech ecosystem is required to understand and be able to perform.

• Speaking English is a must, while a Nordic language is a plus but not required.

• Interest in tech areas like Space Technology or Cybersecurity
