Are you on the lookout for an internship for fall semester 2022? Do digital methods and data analysis spark your interest? If you answered yes - great! Backscatter is looking for you who want an internship where you can improve your data analysis and project management skills.
About the internship
As an intern at Backscatter, you will get to work hands-on with innovative and impactful projects in the intersection between social research, data science, and urban development. Since we are a small multidisciplinary team with a flat hierarchy, you will have the opportunity to learn a lot from everyone on the team.
Your main tasks
Ensure quality and timeliness in our project deliveries - including planning and managing data projects.
Practical assistance in preparing workshops and meeting with clients.
Carry out analytical & computational work.
Initiate and scope new projects.
About you
An internship is about learning - therefore we're not so much about the heavy resumes with fancy titles. Instead, we are looking for you who are eager to learn more about digital methods, data analysis, and STS. Having a combination of data analysis skills and project management skills is beneficial in the role, but we believe in “learning by doing”- so most importantly you have the ambition to learn and become really good at both.
Qualifications
Ideally, you’re studying an MSc in social data science, sociology, anthropology, techno-anthropology, or similar.
Communicate fluently in English (if you also speak Danish - it is an advantage).
