We at Zymoscope have the vision to become an integrated part of the future of food, by making fermentation easy and scalable with data. We develop a fermentation management platform, which allows real-time and remote monitoring and control of fermentation processing, with a current focus on the beer industry. Breweries are able to automate quality control, increase production capacity and be able to create innovative and flavorful products in an efficient and consistent way. 

We are looking for a highly structured Business Developer, with an interest in food-tech and startups. We will be introducing our updated product into the market in Q2 2022, where will be focusing on beta pilots with leading breweries in Denmark, France, and the UK. Thus, we are looking for someone to assist our CEO in various business development activities, from customer development, sales, marketing, and fundraising. 

Your job:

• Conducting market research, identifying early adopters, and creating sales funnels

• Further develop and continuously keep track of our CRM system with a focus on customers and investors

• Create content, with a focus on blogs around fermentation monitoring, and newsletters for customers & stakeholders

• On an ad hoc basis, assist on administrative tasks e.g. compiling contracts or coordinating with our bookkeeper

• Assist in our customer development activities, designing experiments and interviews to test hypotheses within business and product

• Assist in compiling product demos, investors presentations, and reporting

• Assist in compiling grant applications

• Assist in investor research and fundraising process

Your profile

• BSc or MSc within Business Development, Product Engineering, and Innovation

• or/and BSc in Natural Sciences like Food Science, Biotechnology with a proven business acumen

• Experience with Presentation Software (ppt, or keynote), knowledge in BI is a plus

• Fluent in English (copywriting skills are a plus)

• Strategic mindset

• Love to experiment, and run scrum frameworks for product ownership and customer development
