At Cylindo, we see an increased interest in our 3D product offerings and our customers need our help in utilizing their e-commerce potential according to the newest market trends and 3D technologies. We are expanding our product suite and group of users with the purpose of providing more visual content and making sure our customers can create new types of content themselves based on the 3D models we have produced for them. We are looking for a Senior UX/UI Designer to join our growing Design team as part of the new product offering and group of users where you can shape the early days together with colleagues.

Your role and daily collaboration in a cross functional team

As a Senior UX/UI Designer you will be working across the design cycle, conceptualizing and designing solutions based on a detailed understanding of our user needs, and validating them. You will do this in a cross functional team of experienced engineers, designers and product managers.

• You will be defining and executing the necessary steps inherent to the Design process: facilitating workshops, creating user journeys, task flows, identifying customer problem statements, generating concepts, wireframing, testing and iterating, prototyping, producing detailed specifications, etc.

• Participate in understanding, organizing, and shaping product requirements.

• Collaborating with the product team and stakeholders to test and validate solutions before implementation.

• Create several kinds of specifications for development and collaborate with the developers on their correct implementation.

• Participate in conducting user research; understanding our users’ motivation, goals, and needs; and creating and maintaining personas for our various products.

• Create buy-in for the product vision both internally and with key external partners.

• Determine the information architecture of our digital products and ensure an excellent and consistent user experience throughout our platform.

• Test products with real users. Gathering feedback from users throughout the product life cycle and implementing meaningful changes based on your findings.

Moreover, you will be an active part of the contribution to instilling and developing the UX culture across the organization and you will report directly to our VP of Product, Jostein Pedersen.

Requirements

• Solid experience as a UX Designer or similar role, including knowledge of best practices and experience creating products with complex requirements, liaising with stakeholders, and collaborating with different teams.

• Proficiency with Design software tools (We mostly use Figma and Adobe Creative Suite).

• BSc in Design, Interaction designer or relevant field.

• Fluent in English, spoken and written.

This role will have a stronger UX component, but some UI skills and experience will be valued. It would be even more awesome if you also have experience within 3D, SaaS and/or B2B, but it is not a requirement from our side.
