Playfab Backend developer

We are looking for a talented Backend developer with DevOps experience to join our growing team as soon as possible. We are working on multiplayer games for smartphones, launched in 11 different languages with over 1M monthly active users. We are an international team with colleagues Copenhagen, Cyprus, Berlin and the US. The main goal migrate and improve the backend to a global leading game within the word genre and we need your help to do so.

You will be working closely with our CTO and the rest of our engineering team when working on new features and solving problems. 

Responsibilities

• Migration of current backend from GameSparks to Playfab

• Improving existing functionalities of the backend.

• Improving the test environment

• Optimizing Database queries and performance

• Create and maintain internal tools for support, operations and management.

Requirements

• Javascript Development 

• Event-driven backends

• NoSQL databases

• PlayFab experience 

• Azure Services

• You are someone who has at least a few years of experience with executing many of the tasks mentioned above

• The ability to collaborate with clients and team members

• Good linguistics, English is a must, and inter-cultural skill

Other relevant skills or experiences could be; Game Development, Google Firebase, Bash Scripting, Analytics tools
