Want to join an ambitious proptech startup? Hococo is growing rapidly, so we’re looking for a full-stack developer, who can join our vision of becoming the leading tenant relationship platform and bringing customer-centricity into the long term rental industry. We are looking to expand our team with a talented (mainly backend) developer to help build a great product for many years to come.

Hococo offers a B2B SaaS platform that helps landlords improve communication and service in the real estate space making it attractive to focus on the residential end-user. We believe we can improve people's lives through the way they live by enabling perfect tenant experiences and by improving the landlords work processes - all by using groundbreaking technology.

You will join us as an integral part of our start-up and you will be given plenty of opportunity to shape the business, create a fantastic product and be in constant development. We expect that you are driven, ambitious and eager to innovate, learn and try out new technology driving new features from start to finish. On the other hand, we expect that you are not afraid of getting your hands dirty by for example writing specifications, doing code review, testing and fixing bugs when they surface. There are plenty of opportunities to grow along with the company and help define your own role.


You will need to be able to check off the following criteria:

  • You have experience with developing single-page applications (SPA).

  • You know how to develop a Laravel REST API.

  • You can put together a reasonable normalized database schema.

  • You’re passionate about problem solving and developing web-based software solutions.


Apart from that, you get some extra points if:

  • You’ve worked with our technology stack (Laravel, Vue.js, Capacitor, Typescript, Node.js, Azure, Docker, Kubernetes, and more.)

  • You understand that there’s a bottom line to consider, but you don’t compromise on the quality of your solutions - without being a perfectionist

You will be working in a young company with a flat hierarchy, where everyone’s opinion is taken into consideration. You will be referring directly to the tech manager as part of a growing team.

Traditional real estate and tenant administration relies on outdated, non-compliant systems that don't embrace the new modern technologies.
