Email Marketing Automation Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

  • Write converting email Use the marketing automation platform, targeted emails, and messaging to drive more pipeline to ultimately close additional business

  • Design and implement direct email marketing campaigns and automation flows

  • Create and refine email strategy to align with the overall company/marketing team goals

  • Fully manage marketing automation platforms – Hubspot, Mailerlite, ActiveCampaign Intercom, etc 

  • Evaluate and revise email streams based on our audience and continually understand their pain points

  • Create executive-level reports to show how email streams are doing as a large part of our marketing strategy

  • Map out email processes and how it integrates into tech stacks

  • Identify trends in the market by analyzing audience engagement and continually refine content and processes to improve email performance

  • Segment lists based on behaviors like past email engagement and website interactions 

  • Develop documentation and road maps for processes, A/B tests, and promotions that succeed through email.


Requirements:

  • 3+ years of experience with email marketing campaigns and marketing automation

  • 3+ years of hands-on experience building and automating email campaigns using platforms like Hubspot, Mailerlite, Mailchimp, ActiveCampaign, Intercom, Lemlist, Snov.io

  • Strong proofreading skills focused on emails for clarity, grammar, and spelling

  • Proven track record of successful email campaigns

  • Ferocious attention to detail and a willingness to work your way through projects with loose requirements 


Extra Points but NOT Required

  • Copywriting and paid media experience

  • Api and integration experience

  • Experience in paid platform campaigns in Saas, Ecommerce, or online publishers

  • Experience with scraping tools such as TexAU or PhantomBuster

  • Experience with hyper-personalization campaigns 

  • Experience with SEO / website analytics (analytics, screaming frog, ahrefs, Keyword research tools, etc)

  • Familiarity with ad management platforms

  • Use any automation or outreach tools
