Astralis is looking for a Digital Commercial Manager to join the Marketing Department.
Astralis owns and operates several different esports teams in Counter-Strike, League of Legends, Rainbow 6, FIFA, and Fortnite. In addition, we own and operate Astralis Nexus: a 1,200 sqm gaming center. Each asset has its own identity and peak season.
Marketing collaborates with a range of internal and external stakeholders – including our Communications and Commercial Department – and not many days are alike.
Job description
We want to deliver the best possible results through creative, engaging, and value-driven activations with our fans and partners in focus. Many of our activations and activities run through our digital channels, as campaigns, always-on, or content; thus, a passion and in-depth understanding of social media and community management are pivotal to success.
You will be responsible for driving and activating all of Astralis’ partnerships on our digital channels. In close collaboration with the Commercial Team, your responsibilities will include:
Scoping and planning the digital commercial activations in the Marketing Team.
Creating distribution plans to ensure relevance and engagement.
Coordinate and oversee the execution of distribution, whether done by yourself or your marketing colleagues.
Manage the process from start to finish, being the critical link between the Commercial Department and Marketing.
You will report to the Marketing Director.
We imagine you have hands-on experience working in social media where you have activated brands and/or commercial partnerships. Being on top of the latest digital trends is important. We do not require a detailed understanding of the gaming- and esports space. However, we do expect a passion and curiosity that will get you there eventually.
Responsibilities
Scope, plan and coordinate the activations of our commercial partnerships in close collaboration with the Commercial and Marketing Teams.
Hands-on execution of said activations across all digital channels.
Oversee and execute commercial campaigns across all digital channels.
Creative ideation for commercial campaigns and activations to ensure a progressive and industry-challenging approach when it comes to commercial partnership activations.
Report on performance together with our Business Analyst to make sure we push our limits and constantly evolve.
Your profile
Fluent in Danish and English.
Excellent written communication skills in both languages.
Experience with social media management.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
A commercial mindset with an understanding of communities and how to best engage with and activate them.
A driven and ambitious mindset comfortable in making your own decisions.
Strong understanding of marketing channels such as paid advertising.
Knowledge of the esports and gaming space and community (nice-to-have).
