We're looking for a new inspiring Business Development representative to create
commercial opportunities for EcoTree in Denmark. As a business developer, you will
be the first point of contact between EcoTree and our commercial customers in
Denmark, helping them start their journey to supporting and investing in sustainable
forests in Denmark and across Europe.
You’ll play a key role in growing our client base by identifying target prospects,
executing outreach, and owning end-to-end relationships with commercial partners.

planting, developing, and managing sustainable forests across Europe. We started

EcoTree forests are in France today and we are launching our first two forestry
projects in Denmark in 2022.

You have had some impressive professional experiences already. You may have
helped clients to understand and solve sustainability challenges; helped private or
non-profit companies address social governance issues in Denmark or otherwise; or
played a key part in growing a business. You are keen to help our young company
grow into a leading nature-based solutions provider. Your educational background
reflects your interest in EcoTree.
+5 years of experience nurturing client relationships in B2B or other relevant settings, primarily in Denmark
An entrepreneurial mindset and business credentials
Ability to communicate effectively and drive results with external stakeholders
An interest in climate change and a passion for nature and preserving the environment.... and our forests, of course
A danish native and comfortable working in a multicultural environment
You are well organised, open minded and curious about industry trends.
Native Danish speaker. Knowledge of French is a plus
Work closely with the Country Manager to identify new business
opportunities, align on prospecting strategy and build your own pipeline of commercial partners
Create and execute outreach strategies
Qualify leads to uncover business objectives and needs
Convert client interest into financial commitments to support forests and other carbon sinks
Own the overall client relationships that you create
Identify and create opportunities to promote EcoTree in Denmark
Starting date: ASAP
Remuneration: Depending on experience. Baseline salary and performance bonus.
Workload: full-time
Location: Our office at Boyesgade 4, 1622 K benhavn V.
