We are looking for an excellent data scientist to help turn the large amounts of sensor data from our vertical farms into better food production and reduced CO2 emission. Already, our farms are automatic controlled by our cloud software and large amounts of historic and realtime data from millions of plants grown is readily available, and in use for optimization and monitoring purposes. You role will be to work with our software people to introduce new improved algorithms with a particular focus on machine learning.

Main responsibilities:

• Define, build and test algorithms for plant growth optimization and monitoring using farm sensor data

• Implement and deploy algorithms in live farms

You:

• Excellent data science knowledge and hands-on experience, particularly within ML

• Excellent programming skills (we are language agnostic)

• Execution oriented, data driven and entrepreneurial

• Curious, direct, proactive and open minded. You take ownership and ensures a job well done

• Structured with an eye for detail

• Likely studying but have relevant practical experience
