Energy Machines & Teracloud S.A is currently accepting applications for an IT Support Technician to support end users in Europe and based out of Copenhagen Denmark headquarters. This excellent opportunity will require support for a global dispersed team spread across 7 countries and different time zones.

The role
You will work from our fantastic offices in Copenhagen Blox, and join a group of skilled individuals in a start-up that is growing and changing. Therefore, it is important that you are a self-starter, with the ability to manage multiple priorities within projects and multiple requests from users with a very wide range of technical backgrounds. You enjoy working in an environment where you can have a direct impact, where you will not need to ask for permission before taking every step, and you enjoy learning many different things concurrently. If you speak an additional major European language besides English, for example German, it is a plus.
You will:
Provide global support to end users for computer, application, system, device, access, and hardware issues. From re-installing windows to swapping hard-drives and upgrading ram sticks: the responsibility will be yours.
Identify, research, and resolve the most complex technical problems. Respond to telephone, email, and online requests for quick turn-around technical support. From helping someone to connect the screen projector prior to a big sales meeting to finding out the best driver for a custom device that has been bought for a specific project application.
Document, track, and monitors problems using applicable systems and tools.
Coordinate with other teams or specialists to resolve any issues. You can become responsible for the resolution of escalated issues of higher difficulty. If for instance Linux is not your thing, be the link between the issue at hand and other support specialists with more specific knowledge.
You have the following skills:
Experience with Microsoft 365 suite of products
Experience tracking issues in JIRA, Azure Dev Ops, or comparable tracking tool
Experience with infrastructure support
Experience with day-to-day user interaction
Good at communicating technical details to others, through the whole gamut level of knowledge: from users with little IT experience all the way to kernel developers
