Do you want to help build everything from AI powered interfaces for healthcare staff, to internal analytics dashboards? Then you might be our new Front End Intern.
The role
You will help us translate the complex outputs of our computer vision models into approachable tools for staff to care for their patients.
Work closely with our frontend and design team to build out and refine our user facing interfaces. Aside from this we also build our own internal dashboards and tools for understanding the performance and usage of the products.
Our web-apps are built using with React/Next.js, using TailwindCSS for styling, ReduxJS for state management and communicating with the backend through our REST api - but as we build, we encourage you to say if something could be built better somewhere else! In addition to that, we also have a mobile app built using React Native.
The internship is 6 months long, and you will be paid 7,500kr a month. We can't offer a remote-friendly internship, so you must be living in Denmark.
The skills needed:
Experience with React and React Native
Well versed in Git
Good with CSS / TailwindCSS
We’d be thrilled if you:
Like design as well, and know tools like Figma
Understand state management with ReduxJS
Have a general understanding of backend (meaning SQL databases, HTTP endpoints, etc.)
What’s in it for you?
Work on a meaningful product, where you can directly see the impacts of your work in helping patients and care staff.
Gain experience in AI and Medtech products.
We’ll provide a desktop computer for you to work from, or you can bring your own computer.
Paid internship - corresponding to SU payments.
Work with a bunch of fun, driven and entrepreneurial individuals.
And obviously free lunch, snacks, and coffee.
Our team
Today, we are a team of 8 working out of our offices in Copenhagen. We're generalists; each with our expertise and constantly picking up new challenges as well as giving a helping hand wherever needed. We're looking for people who are eager to learn and who are not afraid of building things end-to-end. We want to find curious people who can pick up a given problem and solve it.
Our mission
Here at Teton.ai we are using computer vision to create new forms of monitoring and analytics tools for healthcare staff. Which is to say we are training a camera to function like a sensor that can understand all the things that might happen within a hospital (eg a patient falling out of bed, or how their respiration level has changed over the duration of their stay). It’s pretty exciting stuff, if we do say so ourselves.
How we work
We focus on prototyping and iterating quickly, while working closely with healthcare staff to understand how our solution fits into the reality of the ward. Everyone on the team comes down to visit one of our hospital wards at least once, to follow along on a shift and talk to the staff, we see this as essential to understanding the reality of the problems we are trying to solve.
