YOU AND TROPHY GAMES

Trophy Games went public on First North in April 2021, and the ambitions for the coming years are high. We strive to put Trophy Games on the map globally, with our own developed games and by acquiring game studios with great potential and synergies. 

So, it would be very great to have you join us on our Warhammer Soul Arena team if you’re a master of Unity’s VFX capabilities. If you can make particle effects, lens flares, reflections and all the other visual goodies you can cram out of Unity, wow the players even on their low-performance mobile devices - then you’re so welcome to join us for this full-time position ideally covered from our wonderful Copenhagen office.

VALUABLE AND IMPORTANT TASKS

To be a little more precise, we’re looking for the person who feel comfortable applying their creative and technical talents on these aspects of excellent games:

• All aspects of VFX for the Warhammer Soul arena game all the way from idea to live game - in a heavily stylized universe

• Full pipeline capabilities: Conceptualise, design and create stunning visual effects (modeling, rendering, animating, lighting, particles, shader/effects graphs, etc) facilitating all available tools and tricks in the Unity engine.

• Drawing skills capable of creating unique stylised sprites/textures. 

• VFX performance optimizations to the point where you can make a Nokia 3310 burst with stunning effects

• Collaborate with colleagues in design and engineering to create, iterate and polish VFX

• Provide creative and innovative solutions to technical art problems and/or restrictions.

• Create, optimize, implement and manage VFX assets

• Central role in the continuation and improvement of the Warhammer titles overall visual style

On top of feeling, more or less, comfortable with the above, you're probably a team player used to achieving your goals in collaboration with others and you’re not afraid to air your opinions and insights with your team members, whilst still listening to theirs - all in pursuit of the greatest final result.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?

Where your competences stem from is not important. We don’t really care if you learned your trade from the best schools in the world or from the comfort of your basement. We’re moderately interested in where you’ve worked previously, particularly your game business experience. But what we’re REALLY interested in is seeing your masterpiece of a portfolio!
