We were founded in 2016 with the intention to improve physical performance and strengthen the lung function of athletes from all backgrounds, ranging from weekend warriors to the elites.

Now we are slowly growing into a global company and our expertise, focus and dedicated team, means that we are becoming one of the most promising tech start-ups in Denmark. We are backed by vækstfonden and several strong private investors.

We are looking for somebody with previous working experience within the field of mobile app development (preferably React Native) who feel confidently about being the primary driver behind architectural decisions around our entire stack. Moreover, we seek someone passionate about translating commercial requirements and ideas into new software products. You will therefore be part of the very early stage of business ideations and help the management by validating the feasibility of projects based on your technical insights, as well as estimating and breaking larger projects into tasks for the rest of team to work on. You will join our team of full stack developers and help bring the possibilities of the Airofit breathing trainer device together with our mobile app to the next level!

We don’t expect you to have experience with every tech in our stack – what matters the most is that you have some experience working with traditional client/API frameworks and have a personal drive as a leader.

The app that our talented development team has been developing and constantly improving, allows the user to have access to a virtual breathing coach to monitor their progress and have a visual representation of their breathing pattern in real-time. The breathing trainer collects the user’s data and transmits it via Bluetooth to the app. 

We launched Airofit PRO in September 2019 to the sports market, working with thousands of athletes to improve their performance efficiently by focusing on their most important organ.

What we expect of a candidate: 

• Interest in the commercial aspects of software development

• Feeling comfortable giving technical advice to business stakeholders

• Experience working with JavaScript/TypeScript or similar

• Experience designing and implementing APIs. 

• Knowledge of SQL and data structures. 

• +3 years of experience as a software developer

Further skills that would benefit a candidate:

• Working experience as Product Owner/Project Manager or similar

• Experience using React-Native. 

• Experience with Redux and Saga or other state management and side-effect libraries. 

• Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes and Azure or other dev-ops tools. 

• Experience with Continuous Integration

• Any mobile development experience.
