Role Overview:

As our Technical SEO Specialist, you will work closely with our SEO content executive to create and implement our SEO strategy. You will oversee multiple areas of responsibility within SEO, from regular performance checks, to ensuring that all technical aspects of the website are optimised towards Google’s best practices. On top of that, you will be expected to be a part of our website migration with the merger of our two brands (brandwatch.com and falcon.io). As our online presence is extremely important for the success of the business, your position will play a huge role in driving our business growth and success.


We need you to:

  • Be an integral part of our website merger, and ensure that our SERP rankings are not affected

  • Work closely with our SEO content executive, who is responsible for planning, developing, and implementing our overall SEO content strategy

  • Be responsible for our link building strategy, and work closely with our content and PR teams to ensure best practices are followed

  • Perform regular technical audits of website performance and site architecture, as well as competitive analysis

  • Monitor and evaluate search results and search performance across the major search channels in order to improve rankings, on a daily basis

  • Prepare and present regular reports to management on organic search performance

  • Stay up to date with the latest trends, be it recent algorithm updates, new structured data formats, or new SERP features


Our ideal candidate has:

  • 4-5 years experience within SEO, ideally with a technical background

  • Demonstrated ability to handle large, complex projects and websites with thousands of pages

  • A strong understanding of link building, with proven experience from another organisation

  • Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript

  • Previous experience handling site migrations, from an SEO point of view, is a plus.

  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, and feels comfortable doing presentations

  • Familiar with SEO tools like Ahrefs, SEMRush, Screaming Frog

  • Expert knowledge in Google tools such as GA, Search Console, GTM etc.

  • A Performance marketing oriented mindset
