Role

We are looking for a skilled DevOps engineer to join our ambitious team in Espoo, Finland, or remotely like our CTO in France. The DevOps engineer would be working closely with our R&D team to build the best CI/CD experience. You will have a real impact on DevOps practices and definition of pipelines. If you are interested in new tools and technologies this is your place.

Match

• The perfect match would have over 5 years of experience in a DevOps role.

• You should be familiar with Kubernetes (Docker, containerd or CRI-0), GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, Security topics, Monitoring

• It would be great if you have worked in a domain related to Big Data, process intelligence, process mining, or analytics. SaaS product development, startup experience, and other interesting projects would be something we’re always keen to learn more about.

• Knowing what the 80/20-principle and changing hats mean and being comfortable with that.

• Good verbal and written communication skills in English and an ability to adapt to the customer mindset to build a great end-user experience are something that we value really, really highly.

• Graduated in Computer Science or similar (M.Sc. preferred). EU work permit.

Stack

The current tech stack is around Python / React / JavaScript / SQL / Spark / Kafka - all running on Azure (more cloud platforms coming soon). The platform is a combination of a cloud service and a desktop application/plug-in. As we’re focusing on the large enterprise segment, private cloud and on-prem deliveries are also done. We use DevOps Pipelines and GitHub Actions for tedious tasks. As a part of the R&D team you will be responsible for introducing and implementing a DevOps culture and ecosystem.

Workfellow is a real-time work intelligence software solution to make sense of work and to get manual stuff automated the smart way. It is not typical enterprise software, instead, we’re building a product with the consumerized look and feel that people love to use (⌐■_■).

Please note that we are a VC-backed startup in the seed/series A stage so we have a greenfield opportunity to generate something new. Naturally, the role would be evolving as the company grows (and it is).
