StepUp Solutions is building wearables based on breathing, a vital parameter that has been much forgotten but contains so much information.

For sportspeople, we can significantly improve training efficiency while minimizing the risk of injury.

For healthcare, we help patients with COPD manage their disease better and prevent hospitalizations.

For horse owners, we enable riders to understand their horse better to prevent injuries and deaths.

We are looking for a part-time or full-time intern to join our team.

This position is a bit specific: we don't expect you to be a specialist in mechanics, electronics and embedded software, but we expect you to have curiosity for all of it. Fear not, learning and acquiring new skills is written in our DNA. Your goal? Develop some ground-breaking features in our healthcare product. It involves the use of a microphone, a PPG system and a testing equipment to validate it all. It will enable you to apply and increase your knowledge very quickly and discover the startup life. You'll be supported by the whole tech team to achieve this.

Your tasks:

• Designing, prototyping, assembling and testing a wearable using PPG and a microphone

• Integrating this work into our main wearable by designing it as an extension board

• Designing and building a test equipment for our wearables

Knowledge and/or experience within the following is a plus:

• Schematics drawing and PCB layout (Kicad)

• CAD software

• 3D printing

• Wearable technologies
